Ready the Balloon!
We meet near Teton High School (a 45-minute drive from Jackson Hole), then load up into the chase van with the balloon in tow. After deciding on our launch spot, based on the review of the winds and forecast, we drive out to the launch field.
The crew will unload the basket, envelope, and other necessary equipment, and the inflation process will begin. Volunteers are appreciated to help hold the “throat” of the balloon open as the fans fill the envelope with air.
Shawn will light the burners, and the heat will cause the balloon to stand up. You will then get in the basket and will be set free to ascend, floating off into the sky for an epic balloon flight!!
Your Flight Experience
During the flight, you will see Driggs and Teton Valley from a whole new perspective, a totally different point of view. You will enjoy the feeling of tranquility, as you float peacefully through the air! There is really no way to describe it other than to experience it for yourself.
You’ll see the magnificence of the sunrise as you float across the gorgeous Valley terrain with mountain backdrops from a hot air balloon. You could also see many other sights such as the Grand Tetons, the Teton River, and maybe even some of the local wildlife enjoying the peacefulness of nature.
Drift Back to Earth...
Once we’ve landed back on earth, there will be a celebration of light refreshments with our traditional post balloon flight toast.
Your ground crew has been keeping an eye on you from the ground to be there when you land. They will be working hard to get everything packed back up so you can then be delivered back to your vehicle. You will take with you memories of a lifetime and many beautiful photos!!
